Friday at Treasure Club

Stopped by Treasure Club about a week and a half ago for a couple of hours when flight put me in Greensboro earlier than expected. I arrived around 2:30 on a Friday and the parking lot was about a quarter full. No valet parking and entire lot is fenced.

Club is very easy to find located off I-40 and pretty close to the airport. ID scan at the door and hostess buzzed me in. Hostess said to wear a mask but I took it off as soon as I walked into the main area. A couple of customers were wearing them but not many and no dancers or staff. No cover charge before 6:00 but you must have a membership (this can be purchased day of).

The club is neither a dive nor highly upscale. Stage in middle with two poles, bar to the right, DJ booth and some reserved seating to your left. There is an ATM and no bathroom attendant. One dancer told me they have new manager and have been putting in a lot of cosmetic upgrades. Music wasn’t too loud to carry on a conversation and was mainly hip hop/dance. I love hearing some older Led Zepp or Def Leppard while watching a girl spinning on a pole but that was not to be.
