Not bad

This was not as bad as expected given the ample shill reviews on here. In my experience, the higher the ratio of shill to total reviews is, the more the club sucks, but that was not the case here.

For starters I paid $12 to get in and $16.25 for a double Jack on the rocks. In the time honored tradition of ye ol’ Route 19 clubs, OZ adds a quarter at the end of its drink prices, probably to encourage bar staff tipping. The pour was decent, so I did not feel particularly ripped off despite the healthy price tag.

As far as the layout, the club is not that large, but they managed to pack a lot of people in on this busy Saturday night. They had a drink station, including hard alcohol, near the entrance to get people started as they walked in. This makes sense given that it was standing room only. As you venture into the club, there are three connected stages on the right and a roped off VIP seating section on a raised platform on the left. Further in is the bar a handful of additional tables behind it. The reason they hit standing room only so quickly is that they do not place a premium on seating availability. I was lucky to snag a premium bar seat near the stairs leading down to the stage when it opened up.
