This place has really gone downhill
Stopped by EB one recent weekday evening driving down from Boston. It's been many years since I've been at EB. It was a great club years back and I was curious how it is nowadays. Man, was I in for an unpleasant surprise.
EB is tucked away in the back of a strip mall. Easy free parking, $5 cover. It's an awkward space. Kind of feels like a basement storage sort of thing. The VIP area is immediately to the right after the entrance. Keep walking inside and you'll hit the bar, and after that is a low stage with tables to the sides. I hit the bathroom first, and half the urinals was broken. The entire space is well lit, which would have been ok if the dancers were hot. They were not.
I saw around half dozen dancers and about the same number of patrons. The dancers were all older and bigger with too much makeup on them, and I think most were Latinas. None of them floated my boat, and I should have just left. But I've been driving for a while, and I haven't been here in years, so I thought I'd at least grab a beer. Mistake. One of the over the hill dancers came over and harassed me about getting a dance. I had no interest, so I politely told her I was just going to finish my beer then take off. She wouldn't leave me alone and started rubbing her boobs on my arm and then grabbing me. I told her I'm actually going to just leave, and I ignored her indignant look and bailed.
