A very uninspiring visit to Millstream

I was near Baltimore on some business last Saturday, and as luck would have it I finished up right around noon. Being in the neighborhood I thought I'd see if Millstream was coming back in the wake of COVID. Well, I don't know. I do remember on a late weekend afternoon, when I used to visit, it was already pretty lively (by my standards at least). Granted I was a bit earlier, just around 1 PM (they open at Noon). It is the same as I remember, pretty well kept, large bar, decent stage. But that day there were 3 dancers. All wearing masks, even on stage. Maybe 4 or 5 customers, 7 or 8 by the time I left, so they could have been busy very shortly. However, the first dancer never even took her top off. Meh, slow start. Then the second dancer didn't take off anything but the robe covering her lingerie. I didn't wait around for the third set. Neither dancer was un-attractive (third looked like a big girl), and there may have been more dancers not out on the floor, but there just wasn't enough to keep me around. They were enforcing masking for customers and dancers alike. And the Christmas decorations were still up. Perhaps forgivable for January 22nd, but just showed me they weren't trying real hard. This was always a place you could get a decent, though expensive dance, but nothing tempted me to stay and try. Nothing wrong mind you, just nothing to make me want to spend a Saturday afternoon.
