It's a good thing to go to church

Back to the church after the disaster at Splendor. First time to visit there in several years. This happened only to me, as much as I could tell, but getting in past their metal detector was a real challenge. Took out the keys and cell phone and tried to enter -- BUZZ. Then the wallet -- BUZZ. Then the glasses -- BUZZ. Finally the belt -- BUZZ!!!! Three guys were behind me, all laughing, and the receptionist was laughing too. Finally let me through after I offered to have her strip search me (I wouldn't have minded -- LOL). Paid my $5.00 cover and then had to re-dress. Not very easy, since there were layers of clothes due to cold weather, and I really needed the belt so it could hold up my pants. I had gone commando, so I thought that was important.

Finally went into the main dance floor area. Everything the same as it always has been. Three dance floors (only one in use at that time). The lower level was about half full at noon (it would fill up completely by 1). OK, same stairway to level 2 left and right of the entry. Took a table fairly close to the bar on the right side as I was looking at the main stage. Promptly served by a nice-looking waitress, who was sure to offer the buffet on the opposite side of the club. I declined, but the buffet looked pretty good. My gin and tonic was $7.00.

The dancers -- Oh, the dancers!!!! It's been a long time since I had been in a club with so many good looking girls. Most were caucasian, but there were a couple of AA's and an Oriental as well. I saw three 10's -- one white, one black, one Asian. And a number of 8s and 9s. I only saw one who was down around the 5 or 6 level. I stayed for an hour and a half, and during that time, I saw probably 25 dancers who were working, so given the ratings I gave the ones above, it was a high calibre cadre of dancers. I've been going to clubs for over 40 years, and I am very selective, so I think my ratings here are not exaggerated.
