Your Only Real Option In Mobile, But Not Bad

Diamond’s is about half-way between downtown Mobile and the airport on Airport Boulevard. It’s a decent commercial area, so no safety concerns. The club is in a non-descript building that looks like it might have been a restaurant at one time.

There is a short hallway inside the door where a doorman will check your ID and register you if you haven’t been there before. Apparently, it’s a “membership” club, so you have to be registered, but anyone can be a member. Cover charge is $10, but is waived for military/veterans.

The club is on the small side. There is a bar to the left, and the one and only stage is to the right. There a very small, had made looking table scattered around and cheap, convention center looking chairs. The DJ booth is a small, plywood shack just inside the door. A domestic beer was $5. I ended up buying mixed drinks for a couple of girls at around $10. Not bad.
