Disappointing

I stopped in on a Tuesday mid-afternoon. This place is located literally a few feet off of Route 36 in Keansburg in what appears to be a primarily residential area once you move away from the highway. When you first enter, the men's room is located immediately on your left with a very large, rectangular bar straight ahead and some tables and chairs around the circumference of the room which are really only meant to be used during very crowded times which was certainly not the case when I arrived. I had been here about 6 or 7 times previously and this place seems to be far more miss than hit and on this visit it was once again the former case.

I was quite disappointed to find that there were only 2 dancers working at that time. One was a thin AA girl who was originally from Haiti, but did not have any heavy accent. The other was a skinny Caucasian brunette of medium height who looked like her best days were behind her when I got a good look at her face (i.e. she appeared rather weathered). When she came over to collect her rightful dollar, she asked me if I was planning to do a dance because "we can do whatever we want" in the private room. I had no interest in getting a private dance from either dancer since I wouldn't rate them any higher than a 5 or 6, but it does seem as if extras can certainly be had at this spot. However, most likely it is the usual matter of YMMV and the less appealing ones will be more inclined to go the extra mile. I guess the good news for those of you extras-seekers is that the majority of the women who dance at this place, at least in my opinion, are of the less attractive variety so you can probably get what you want for some additional money. As far as I know, the standard lap dances are $20 per song if you just want the standard grind, but you might get quoted a number of different prices for the extras depending on whom you select.

I stayed for just about an hour until 4:15pm hoping that someone else would show up, but that did not happen. There isn't much of a bright side to this report, but if there was anything refreshing about this fiasco it was the lack of a dollar parade which you would expect when there are only two dancers. However, I would have preferred shelling out a few more bucks, particularly in the back room, to see some more impressive talent. The one constant I have noticed among all of my visits is that there is always at least one woman who probably has her own AARP card. This is not a motivating factor to return again anytime soon.
