Super fun first time at Platinum Dollz

Went here on a weeknight trying something new. The place itself is nice, felt like a pub more than a strip club. As you enter the restrooms are directly in front of you, there is a locked VIP area to the right and the main stage and bar area to the left. Typical North Jersey setup of a rectangular bar in the middle of the room with a stage in the middle. I sat at the bar and there were probably 8 other customers in there at the time. There was only one older bartender, and she was running around doing everything it seemed, she poured me a beer and I broke a $100 bill and she gave me like $7 in ones with the change. She must be the owner or manager or something because that was the only drink she poured the entire time I was there, the rest of the time she was running food or taking care of the VIP room stuff or going into the DJ booth. Seemed weird and kind of abrasive.

Anyway, the dancers here were fairly nice looking. Looks ranging from 6-10. Most I interacted with were Latina but I could see a few white girls that were clinging to regulars and would not budge from the barstools they were posted up at. What was nice was that there was only one dancer at a time on stage and the dollar train was manageable because of that. After a few rounds of dancers it was evident that I wasn't getting any attention from any of the girls and was not going to get a refill on my beer in a timely manner so I was about to call it and bounce. However, one dude left and the girl talking to him slid over to my chair and started rubbing my leg and asked if I wanted a dance. I asked her what the deal was, $20 per song in the open couch room or a VIP room is $200 per hour to the house plus her fee. I opted to a dance in the back to discuss it further.

The couch room is really bright. Like I've never been in a club that was this lit up before, it was kinda off putting. There were no curtains or anything just a bunch of couches lining every wall of the room and some tables in the center for drinks and stuff. I spent one song in there and asked more about the VIP room. The girl didn't speak English well but she relayed that it was $200 for the house and $200 for her. Kinda pricey, and I didn't attempt to negotiate because something just felt off about offering the girl less than what I pay for the room. So I agreed, paid her $20 for the dance there and we found the bartender/waitress/manager after a short while and I paid her for the room.
