A matter of timing

My last visit was on a Friday afternoon, mid November, maybe 2 or 230 PM. Too late for the lunch crowd, but I thought it would be too early for folks to be knocking off work and just kicking it at the SC before the weekend. Guess I was a bit mistaken on that take. I've been to the Cricket a couple of times before, not sure I've left reviews, but the general tone has always been very friendly- variety of dancers, black and white and in-between, big and small and in-between, older and younger and in-between. I was hoping for the same kind of variety and maybe to have some fun chats and some fun in the back.

Alas this time it was not to be. The bar was pretty crowded ($10 for redbull-and-vodka), mostly older guys in button-down shirts and better shoes. Booths were full. Lots of PL tough guys in groups of 2 or 3 at tables and booths- one group in hi-viz yellow T-shirts, looked like they might have just come off a road project. There were a couple of dudes with a couple of AA dancers at the table in the corner by the bar, dancers and guys stayed there the whole time I was there, I think maybe one of the dancers did a turn on stage and then went right back to that little group. I saw a total of maybe 8-10 girls working, but there was really only two dancers I was interested in spending time with. I tipped the first one while she was on stage, in the first 5-10 minutes I was there -- long hair, light skin, maybe north african or greek look to her, a bit on the thicker side in the right places ... anyway good tip and I requested a visit- but after she was done she went back in the dancer backstage and I never saw her again.

The other girl was younger, very fit, some tats, and spending time at the table with the road crew guys. So i couldn't just go up and pull her away. After 15 mins or so I got up to go pee, when I came back to my seat at the bar she had moved to a different table, with a different scruffy-looking younger guy in jeans and t-shirt. So she must have been picking patrons based on who she thought was cute vs. who had obvious willingness to pay, haha.
