DV has seen better days, maybe give it some time to re-staff/re-build
Pre-COVID I would go 2x-3x a year for a fun night out. I always had a good time. When I arrive, there was no one at the front desk so I just wandered in expected to be hit-up for an entry fee. Never happened. The interior was different, kind of cold. Two stages: one main and one at the end of the room. There were maybe 8-10 guys, and the girls seemed totally bored. Some one the browsing on their smartphones, some just hangin' together and a could with what seemed like regulars. Waitress service was zippy-do-da. No alchol, no big deal as you can always have a few before you arrive. I had one dance from a chick who came up to me and just asked, "Do you want to have fun?" No one was at the stage, a few walked up to toss a few Bills on the stage, and the girls just seemed bored. No spinners, just some hefty dancers, a few Latinos, a couple white, mostly AA. The quality was poor; say 4-6 in quality.
Back to the dance: She was Latino, late-20'ish or so, one of the better looking girls with a average build. Her English was very poor. Her dance was $40 and fair; wanted a test drive before dropping more on a VIP. Some grinding no enthusiasm or like she was into it. This is 100% a customer service job. Either enjoy what you do and ensure the customer has a good time or do something else. I left.
DV is advertising for new dancers per their website. I can see why. I didn't spend much, and probably glad I didn't.
