Good Club, Unsecure Parking Lot

In summary The Pony is a fun club, with something for everyone. Lots of plusses and only a few minuses. Features full spectrum of dancer types, fair prices and a variety of seating options.

Parking is free in a dedicated parking lot that wraps from left side to far back of the building. Watch out for people bumming money, as the club doesn’t secure the large area behind the club. I made the mistake of arriving late and parking in the back area. Was approached as I left. No issue, but I chalked it up as a personal security lapse. Would hate to be one of Shadowcats 2am statistics. Management is friendly, but seems understaffed for peak nights.

Entry included ID age check and pat down, followed by $10 fee on a Saturday at 12:30am. Club is a large square, with large rectangular bar on the left side. Large stage with pole in front and elevated VIP seating along wall on right. Lots of non-VIP tables and seating on the club floor. This is one of the club’s best features, allowing patrons to enjoy the show and party scene on a low budget. Club has an outdoor smoking area behind the stage. Food is available. The chicken strips and fries I tried were good. Another great feature is that a relatively large number of dancers show up early evening when I like to club.
