Faded Glory

What happened? Besides the obvious, I returned to Spearmint Rhino DTLA thoroughly surprised by how much has changed since the beginning of 2020. No more parking attendants, no more taco truck outside… they weren’t even collecting cover when you walk in and I came on a Saturday night!

If that sounds too good to be true, it is… upon entering the front door greeter said, “How’s it going guys?” and we walked right in, no cover. Although the website roll call listed 15 girls, I spotted only about 10 wandering the floor at any given time. Beyond the shock of no cover, there was no 1 drink minimum either. What is going on?

The place itself looks about the same as it was before, but is it just me or have they removed even more lights from what they had years ago? While in the past Spearmint Rhino Los Angeles would have a diverse selection of girls, truly something for everyone, the ladies working tonight were pretty indistinguishable from each other. Maybe it was the lighting but I honestly couldn’t tell many girls apart.
