Lack of Enthusiasm all around

First trip back to OTB in a couple of years. The inside of the club is decent, fancier/nicer than many others in the sticks, but not the best in Milwaukee. The inside is laid out with a large semi circle shaped bar that goes around the main stage. The circular stage then extends back towards the wall and has an additional pole that was not in use at the time. The bar creates an odd barrier to traffic in that is creates 3 rows of seating, outer bar circle, inner bar circle, then at the stage. While this is convenient for customers to all be able to see the show facing the stage, it makes it difficult to occasionally tip if sitting on the outer circle at the bar. This is likely part of the need for the ubiquitous WI tip walk that happens after the dancer leaves the stage. Along the left wall was a secondary bar in a large sectioned off VIP section. To the back right was a sectioned off area for lap dances.

I arrived right before 7 which apparently was shift change. There were about 5 dancers at the time that I saw and they all looked like it was the end of the shift. 0 enthusiasm and just phoning it in. Similarly, the patrons seemed to be phoning it in and not really paying attention, so I can't blame the dancers. 3 guys playing pool, 1 guy on his phone watching videos of something (with speaker/volume on), and 2 guys around the outer bar talking to each other. I have never been in a club before where it seemed like no one wanted to be there. The only group that seemed like they had their caffeine for the day was the bartenders. There also seemed to be more support staff (bartenders/bouncers/waitresses) around than dancers. Cover charge was $5, Beers were around $5, dancers were quoted as $20, but I didn't partake.

I waited for two full rotations of boring tired performances including after the shift change to see if anyone interesting would come to work, but no such luck. Overall dancer quality wasn't great, 6s at best, and that is even considering this is a WI club where the average is already low. Maybe this club has potential and this was just an off night, but definitely not planning on coming back anytime soon.
