Small, but a good time

So I haven't visited a strip club since I left the military and that was over 10 years ago, but I got off work early the other night and figured, what the hell? And headed to Downtown KC to this location. The $20 cover threw me off guard originally as I was used to $10 or less in the past, but it is what it is. I walked inside and being a Sunday night, the room was very sparse. Maybe 5-6 other patrons in the area who were all just blindly staring at the stage. Many of the girls were just situated at the back on their phones and ignoring customers, but I didn't blame them given how quiet it was.

My first real negative experience was with the servers. The moment I sat down a girl came to me and immediately took drinks, and I didn't even have a chance to drink before she was back on me to ask for more money. I guess in their mind it was good service to always offer more drinks but it just came off as pushy for me.

The first girl I spoke to, a small petite redhead, was very nice and friendly. I had two interactions with dancers personally throughout the night and they were both fine. The redhead came up, actually held a conversation and flirted a bit, as we got to know each other. I appreciated that over the traditional just walking up and asking for dances. I purchased two dances from her, and she was good, exactly the body type I like, but she was also nothing special. They were no-contact, which I'm used to and didn't mind, and she knew how to please me.
