First time at any club in over a year and went back to my usual place. Went around 6pm and got free admission and there were happy hour drinks until 8pm for $8. It was actually somewhat crowded which surprised me. Not nearly as many people in suits as there would be after work hours as usual though. DJ was playing some old school dance songs and occasionally pop music. Didn't run into a single dancer that I knew from before the pandemic. Most girls were friendly and would chat for a short bit before asking for a dance. Dances took place on the floor for $20 each. Not much touching being a Manhattan club. I watched for a bit until I found an attractive blonde American girl with whom I got a few dances. There are managers walking around the floor making sure no one crosses any limit. Club lights seemed darker than usual as Rick's used to be the only club with actual good lighting and you could see if a dancer was attractive from more than a few feet away.

Sat back down and got a Long Island for $8 and the drink was solidly strong. The waitresses are hotter than the dancers, though that's true of most clubs. Carry singles to tip the guy in the restroom or it could get awkward. Also for the coat check girl. The VIP room was still something like $360 for a half hour, more than I planned to spend so just got another dance from one of the many hispanic girls and then left. Overall, was cool to be back and Rick's is a very solid club.
