No Letter to Penthouse Forums for Me This Trip - But Better Than Expected

I had made one trip to the Penthouse Club many years ago, before I'd developed my SC game, and had a good time. After reading reviews before making this trip I wondered how I would feel this visit. I have to say - I kind of like this place.

Walking onto Bourbon Street, you pass the Hustler Club and a couple of other establishments that seem to shout, "stay away!" The Penthouse Club is around the corner on Iberville, a little off the beaten path, and that makes it seem a pleasant world away. On this Sunday evening I had to show a COVID card and an ID (no scan) to get in, and the cover charge was $12. There is a bathroom attendant, but in the cesspool of the French Quarter, I'd have paid the cover just to be able to use the clean restroom and have soap to wash my hands. Very welcome here.

The main dance floor is on the first floor, with a big bar to the left and a smaller bar in the front right corner. There are several stages for when the place is bustling, but on this night only two were being used. You can choose to sit at the stage and throw dollar bills and have a good likelihood of having two warm legs crossed over your shoulders at some point. You can sit at a stage-side table, where dancers seemed to approach the PLs and sit in their laps for drinks and propositions. Or, you can sit at the bar or high tops and just gawk. On this evening, there were a large number of attractive women as patrons, trowing stacks of dollars and trying to motorboat.
