Not terribly friendly to outsiders in Superior, WI.

I was staying solo in Duluth after helping a buddy up north take out dock and decided to venture east to Superior WI to check out Centerfolds Caberet. FYI Duluth is MN CC Wisconsin but it’s only about 20 minutes via Uber which I took as I was drinking. Superior has a reputation as a trashy city when compared to Duluth and I would agree with this. I made it clear to Uber guy to drop me close to front door as possible. Numerous nefarious characters hanging around the streets outside and if you walked a block or two here after dark good chance of immediate mugging.

There was a small cover I believe 5 bucks. 2 bouncers one at door one behind a table inside. No metal detector. There is a long bar to the left as you walk in, an elevated DJ table to the right. The stage is to the back right of the floor, bathroom in the back (missing one faucet). They have I would say 6-10 VIP type booths in the back near the bathroom. Decent privacy, the dancer can pull a curtain, but when inside you can see other VIP booth/dancers so not a ton of privacy. Dancers do have to check in with bouncers prior dance and its unusual because you have to walk back the the front bouncer area then walk all the way to VIP area with dancer.

The DJ absolutely killed the visit for me. Head ache inducing volume level. Could not hold a conversation anywhere near the bar. I think DJ was contracted not in house and was trying to steal the show. Lot of customers dancing in front of the DJ booth and ignoring dancers on back stage.
