Mixed results, but cheap couch dances
Heading home from the Flyers game around 10:15, I wasn't quite ready to go home, so I did a small detour to the Pic. My first time going there, but navigation put me right in front of the door. Street parking was packed, but I was lucky to find an open space just a few feet from the door. The car behind the space was a newer white Dodge Charger sedan with both ends smashed in (headlights/grille/bumper totally missing, rear bumper smashed in about a foot with the trunk held down with a bungee strap). I was pretty confident that the owner of that car would not be leaving the space before I did at night.
From prior reviews, I knew that you had to ring a doorbell for admission. As I walked up to the door, an older WOC knocked on the door and was let in, and she held the door for me. I walked in behind her. I assumed she would be an employee/dancer, but she actually paid at the window. As she was paying, a bouncer frisked me for weapons - probably a good thing. The guy behind the window said it was $15. I also got $20 in ones from him.
Inside the crowd was mostly people of color. Lots of dancers - way more going on here than most clubs I've been in post-COVID. One white older guy fist bumped me for being another white guy (awkward). There are two bars, one to the left and one up a couple of stairs and to the right. The one on the right has a long red vinyl couch where lap dances (non-private) occur.
