Visiting HL with desertscrub

Hi Liter was very hit or miss during my trip with some days far exceeding my expectations and others leaving the club without even getting a dance. This is the first time, ever, that I actually never got any floor or VIP dances during a visit. Quite a variance in talent and vibe from day to day with Wednesday afternoon being more inline with HL of old. I met up with desertscrub that day and we exchanged notes and laughs. Always a good time with him, even though some on here may not agree with his style of humor. I feel he is the most misunderstood person on the forum and now consider him a good friend of mine.

Anyways, couldn't recognize any of the dancers during dayshift until I spotted Aria. She's been described as a tall blonde with a pretty face and nice build. Beyond that, every other dancer was new to me. More AA dancers than I could remember, and of course, plenty of Cubans. I always refuse dances from the Cuban contingent as I had a bad experience with one way back and will never repeat that mistake. Good news is that the bouncers, bartenders, and waitresses are all recognizable and they always treat me well. Dayshift drink specials are still around with the 2-for-1 drinks til I believe 7p?

There was a difference that has been alluded to, but never fully described in detail, and that's the right-side VIP area. Spoke with one of the managers and they said they're offering a timed VIP where you pre-pay for a pre-determined length. Didn't get any price details, and saw nobody enter that area. Floor dances are still $10, even along the mirrored wall, and VIP dances are $25 per song. Got some floor dances with Tori which were good grind and ran into Sophia, but she was busy with customers.
