I crossed the line into strip club dining.
I've been an occasional strip clubber for a decade or so. Always content to say "I don't have a problem" because a) I don't spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars; b) I don't fall in love with them; c) I don't believe their SS; and d) I don't go for the food. Well, shoot. today I went for the food.
I've previously associated strip club food with Deja Vu's midnight hot dog bar. I haven't sunk that low yet (though I am going to Detroit on Sunday).
Downtown Cabaret has taken over from the Seville as Minneapolis' nicest club. The girls are pretty and they can hold a conversation better than any other local club. The building, a former bank and non-strip night club, is full of dark-stained woodwork and stained glass. Other reviewers have panned the light wall behind the main stage, but I think it makes the good dancers' silhouettes stand out. The music was not too loud today.
