After 2 years, decided to go and see

I had not gone to TJ in 2 years, but finally decided to give it a try again.

I went on a Friday evening knowing it would be busier than on the weekdays. Walked across the border, and there was a line. Once I got to the desk, the lady sent me in to a room. The guy there made me pay 30 dollars for a 6 month Visa. In the past I never had to do that. Not sure if I'm getting scammed, but what could I do, I wanted to go.

Next the Taxi ride. (I did get scammed on the ride to HK) The taxi guy told me when I got there the ride was 10 dollars. (Used to be 5 dollars) I hadn't been to TJ in a very long time, so I wasn't sure what to do. Also, with my limited Spanish, I didn't know what to say. I just wanted to go in to the club, so I paid him, even though I felt like there was no way inflation was 100% in 2 years.
