Not the best time at Club-X

Stopped by Club-X on a Wednesday night at about 10:00 PM. There was nobody at the door so there was no cover charge.

The bar is old with a lot of mirrors and stages. Most are not being used. As you walk in the biggest stage is to the left and is never used. It is dark. The main stage is small and slightly to your right. Wednesday it was dark also. The bar is also to your right. I is a U Shaped bar that seats about 20 people if they are elbow to elbow.

There were about 8 dancers that were all white and 7 to 9 in the quality range. There were no kids as dancers, all had been around and were professional. All the dancers were sitting with customers which there were about 10 customers. One of the good things was Mark was not there. Bud Light bottles were $5 + $1 tip.

Finally a skinny tall tatted dancer came out of the back and sat with me at the bar. It was the usual club talk. We finally got around to dances and agreed to a $25 dance. Went into the $25 room which has curtains that stay open. I have been to this club several times over the last 20 years and I have never seen management check the private dance area as much as they did Wednesday night. The first dance I had the manager came in and checked on us 5 times, really? I asked the dancer what was going on and she said the other night they had an “incident”. It was still under review by the “law”. Consequently the dances had a lot of checking and consequently it was pretty tame.

I’ll go back in a month or so and see how the club is doing.
