Not impressed on Saturday night

I had done a little TUSCL research about the Chicago area before my trip. I decided I would try Atlantis first. This was my first visit to the club and comes from the perspective of someone who travels a great deal and has been to many clubs all over the US. I arrived on a Saturday night at 9:00pm.

I was instructed where to park and charged a $10 fee by the parking attendant. The cover charge was $20 and I was greeted by a silver headed man that offered to give me a tour of the place. I passed. I took a seat about two rows from the stage.

The main room of the club is very large in an open area with very high ceilings. I would say the club was attractive in the main area. I was amazed at the stage show (and not in a good way). The girls would dance for what seemed like three to five songs and not one of them removed any clothing. The stage is above ground level by several feet. So, these girls would sway bored on the stage for 10-15 minutes with no one tipping them and no clothing being removed. Maybe this is a club where tips get skin showed. The girls on stage were not attractive to me. They were all thicker girls than is my preference. I don’t have much interest in girls that weigh near my weight. That is not part of my fantasy. The atmosphere was dead.
