Crossed the Border for some Canadian Hospitality

I want to be clear that this perspective is from an American in Upstate New York visiting Canada, so my expectations are pretty different from that of the locals. I figured this could be helpful for Americans travelling through.

I was travelling up over Labor Day weekend and the clubs were still in the early reopening phase and I wasn't really sure what to expect. I came to see the famous 'Downer club, but when I drove by there were maybe 10 cars in the parking lot, if that. It was around 10pm, so maybe things just hadn't kicked off yet, but I noticed a pretty decent line of people outside of Seductions so I went over to check it out.

Everyone had to take a temperature check and then get a photo taken for their database - one guy started protesting and then started insulting the receptionist so she had to call security and throw him out. Look, I get that things suck right now, but don't be that guy.
