Good visit to 2001, but very expensive

I rarely find myself in Tampa, but I try to visit 2001 Odyssey when I'm in town. As others have stated, this is totally a tourist club. I can understand the locals not liking it because it costs $$$$$$ to have a good time here. I'm a tourist who has never visited twice in a 12-month period, so it's perfect for me.

The club itself is shockingly small considering this is one of the most famous clubs in the area. I do like the futuristic space theme of the place. I was charged $25 for entry, and didn't buy any drinks. I arrived just after midnight and most of the seats were taken.

I want to get ahead of any accusations saying this is a sham review by stating this visit was the worst I've ever had to 2001. Prices seem to have gone up considerably, and the girls were not up to the standards as previous visits. Also the music was so loud I had to yell in people's ear to talk to them, which I haven't had to do here previously.
