Gold Room - 10 minutes south of O'hare airport

I stopped by on a recent Thursday evening. I rode my motorcycle there. They still charge $7 to park in front however I park it myself vs. them taking my nice ride to their mandatory valet parking area. The parking situation may be one of the worst features of the club if you don't like someone else driving or parking your car. Upon entry I had a pass to get in (no cover w/ pass) and left my jacket and helmet with the girl in the coat room - which in this case was very nice to have so I didn't have to carry that stuff around.

Went to the bar and they had a special thing going on where drinks were free for two hours. I ordered a bottled beer and left a larger than usual tip for the nice bartender. I would say that their staff is pretty friendly. I've commented before that they have too many bouncers however I am usually there when it's not crowded so they are likely just getting ready for more crowds. The girls and customers at this place are very diverse - all enthicities and varying wallet sizes. There is a closed smoking area in back which is good that it exists but basically an enclosed room with no view of the club or to the outside.

I grabbed a second beer and talked to a few girls. Most of the girls were chill but I did have one conversation with a girl that is one of my least favorite strip club exchanges. She was probably 5 10" barefoot and 160-170 pounds. Attractive and a whole lotta woman. Probably 6 2" or so with heels. I am taller than average but I always get a kick out of seeing shorter guys going back for a dance for Amazon girls but if that's their thing what do I care. Anyway, we chatted for 2 minutes and she asked for a dance. I said that I wasn't ready and she turned on her heels and walked off in a huff - as if she put in time with me or I had wronged her. Whatever.
