Nemesis became my friend

Sunday- Wednesday trip. Usual flight-bus-trolley-vip shuttle. The stars aligned cuz I was not waiting for more than 1 minute once I landed.

Checked in, asked for good WiFi since I have to work mon&tues. got double room 350. Was a bit concerned that it’s a lower floor, but I had earplugs. The lobby guy quoted a price after discounts…umm math not adding up. Pulled out my phone and showed him. So HE pulled out HIS phone, cuz math is different in Spanish right? He forgot to do 20% off for Sunday night. FYI hotel room prices have gone up recently.

Good internet (25megs) in room for what I need it for, emails and a few quick zoom calls. When I got to my room, door was open and only half way clean. Damn! The stars are unraveling. Lol. There were 2 guys there so I explained to the talacheros (clean up team). They went to work QUICK! Place was scrubbed and extra towels. Gave em a tip and I got my supplies from Oxxo and lube from farmacia. They have lots of choices, even flavored ones if that’s your thing.
