Mediocre club, but some high mileage dances

I've been to Indianapolis many times, and have visited a few of the clubs there repeatedly. I hadn't seen Club Rio, however, so I made a point to check it out on my last visit. The club was maybe a 15-20 minute drive from downtown, in a bit of suburban sprawl. It had a large, lit parking lot. Cover charge on Wednesday about 9:00pm was $7. When I returned on a Saturday about 6:00pm, the cover was $5. A bottle of water was $4 both visits.

The inside of the club was a bit run down. This was definitely a step below Dancers or Brad's, but didn't quite feel like a dive. It was dark inside, which helped hide some of the wear. There were three small hexagonal stages, but only one was ever in use while I was there. There's a bar in the back up a step, with another small sitting area with high-top tables.

On Wednesday evening there were maybe six-eight dancers. One was very thin, though with nice legs. One was very big. There were two black dancers, one nicely thick and the other very thin. One of the dancers was a slightly older, curvy Latina. On my first visit the stage dancing was lame, but I saw slightly better efforts on Saturday.
