I usually don't write reviews like this but being a busy businessman my self. It is hard to see how some businesses are run and not say something. I arrived late Thursday evening to Fringe after a long 12 hour work day. Needless to say I was tired and looking for some relaxation before continuing on my way to Pennsylvania for a business trip the following day so I thought hey going to a club on the way, why not?
Fringe is a small dollar bar type club tucked away in the back of a quiet looking suburb town. It looked new, clean, but aside from that there was not much positive to be said about it. First the tacky decor, bright lighting, and excessive amount of staff/bouncers all over the place reminded me of a poorly put together high school prom. The lady at the front to take the 10$ cover was nice, but aside from that she couldn't answer any basic questions and had to ask two different bouncers for the answers. The bouncers barely knew the answers as well and spent most of the night just staring dudes down instead.
The bartender was a young ditzy blonde who might have been cut from the local high school cheerleading team many years ago due to lack of intelligence. Not only could she not answer any questions, she had to look up the price for each drink. Barely friendly, ice queen when really she was a 4 compared to her foreign born counterparts who have no problems doing their jobs correctly even though for many of them, English is a second language. Maybe if she spent more time making sure she is good at a simple job, instead of twerking for dollars with her backside ironing board, she would be a better bartender. But what else can you expect from a failed cheerleader?
