I went to Hour Place at 20:00 on a Thursday night. The club is in the middle of nowhere. The parking lot is gravel. There was a $10 cover charge at the door. A Sincweiser was $5, a can of Coke was $3, and a Jager Bomb was an overpriced $10. There were five different venues for dancers to perform: a long narrow stage close to the entrance with two poles on opposite ends, a giant cage with a hanging ring inside, the main stage with a single pole, and a back stage near the DJ booth. Only the main stage kept a dancer rotation. Dancers could voluntarily use any of the other stages to showcase their skills. DJ Mississippi was on point, playing a good variety of all genres and even some eclectic stuff. The ATM has a $5 fee and a $200 maximum withdrawal per transaction.

I counted sixteen dancers working, which was about a 1:1 ratio of dancers to customers. Most of the dancers were Caucasian with the exception of one black dancer and one Hispanic dancer. In terms of attractiveness, the club ran the gamut between a 1 and a 9. Dancers are supposed to strip down to nude on stage, but not all of them did. Some dancers would just pull their panties down to give you a glimpse of their beaver. At one point a guy was called up for some sort of bachelor/divorce party show. He laid down on the floor, and all sixteen of the dancers took turns riding him cowgirl or reverse cowgirl. It was semi-entertaining, so I made it rain singles along with the guy’s friends over the faux sex show.
