When the Sun Goes Down, So Does The Temperature
Needed a night to myself so I figured that I would take the trip across the bridge to the Playhouse and enjoy some dancers. Huge parking lot that had MAYBE 12 cars in it. The rectangular bar is right in front of you as you walk in. To the left are the bathrooms and the girls dressing room and to the right is the mirrored wall and DJ Booth. I perched myself on the right side of the bar towards the back corner. I like it back there for many reasons.
The bartender collected $10 and I asked for a water along with some 1's for the dollar parade. The girls at night are far younger than the women during the day. They are more active when dancing, more energetic, mainly tighter bodies that are very easy on the eyes but the draw back to all of that is that they are much more reserved and there to stage dance only. This is for the majority of young dancers, with the exception of a few.
On this Thursday night I remember the dancers Carly, Marly, Ariel, Michelle, Persia, Tay, April, Ariel and a few others. They seemed to be content to do their stage dances and then a quick trip around the bar and off to the back room to hang and giggle with each other. Not a warm reception by any stretch of the imagination. I was intrigued by Ariel and almost asked her to go for dances, which are $30 for 4 minutes and your room number & dance count is announced over a speaker in your room, but thought the better of it for some reason. Maybe she was just a bit too ghetto vibing for me. I could be wrong and perhaps made a mistake, who knows.
