Hits the spot

Tattletale, for me, now clearly my favorite, but that’s at least partly because I fit the demographic for daytime customer- older white male,

who doesn’t want crowded, make it rain/booty experience with music I can’t stand (yes, get off my lawn). There have been some improvements since last review in spring, though some problems remain.

Layout: Still one stage, surrounded by say 10 small tables. There are 4-5 tables set back against the wall that are a little less lit, and 2 booths along entrance wall that are sorta private from most but not all the bar (looks like diner booths from the 50s). However, main action remains bar area, with drinks ranging from $6 to $25. Most girls are happy to accept drink, and bartender will often offer a little sly look for encouragement, but there’s no drink hustle per se.
