First Time Back Since COVID

I travel a lot for work and was happy to be back in Orange County so I could visit this place as every time I've been there in the past I've had a positive experience. This was my first time back since COVID, so I was looking forward to see who and what was still there. I thought a Thursday night would be pretty crowded and a good time.

The man at the door was pleasant and asked if I had been there before. I told him it had been a while, but yes. He gave me the high-level overview, I paid the cover, and went in and sat down. In the past girls would always come up right away, but this time it seemed to be a whole group of newer girls. They took there time before coming over and sitting beside me. After 2 songs a tall, skinny dancer came over (she was black with long braids and A cups). She was nice and bubbly, but was still awkward. She told me she just started working not too long ago. She was nice, but awkward, so I wasn't surprised. She asked if I wanted a dance and I told her after her stage set I would, but I wanted to see her on stage first. She stayed and chatted with me until it was her turn on stage. I went to the rail and tipped her thinking after her dance she'd be back my way. I was wrong.

After her set another girl came over, a younger girl with short hair and a little edge. Her name was Bambi. We chatted for a while and she was super nice, again young and didn't seem very experienced. She asked me if I wanted a dance and after a couple of more songs I said yes. She was enthusiastic in her dance. It wasn't the best dance, but her energy and personality kept it fun. I stayed for 2 songs.
