So I stopped by on a Monday evening, just to check the place out and spend a couple of hours. First thing I noticed was the bouncer, who put his hand out for my ID and then said 'Twenty' in a loud voice. Pretty steep for WV standards, but I guess they are enjoying a local monopoly for the moment. Beers were six dollars, and when a dancer asked me to buy her a shot, two shots were twenty nine dollars. Not sure if the Dancers get a kick back on drinks, or if they have a quota or anything.
I did not get any dances that evening, and from what I could tell they did not seem to be very high mileage. I think the club owner is aware of his monopoly and doesn't want to lose the cash cow, so he's running a pretty tight ship.
I enjoyed hanging out and chatting with the girls, who were mostly very laid back. So expensive beers and drinks, not sure about the food or the back room dance quality. For the time I spent there it was a fun couple of hours. Not sure if I'll be going back anytime soon though.
