Decent club but surprisingly expensive.

I wasn't expecting much as was pleasantly surprised. With only one club in town I was a bit apprehensive. In my experience a lack of competition is usually not good for clubs or customers. I was surprised by the $15 cover charge and the two drink minimum. That seemed very steep for a club in Montana. The club was clean and well taken care of so I risked it. The talent (girls) were actually surprising. Although there was one that really shouldn't have been dancing, the rest of the evenings line up was decent with a couple that were fantastic. Sagebrush Sam's (at least the two nights I was there) is not like many clubs where the girls constantly hustle trying to sell private dances. They leave you alone unless you ask them, so you have to be aggressive if you want a private dance even if they sit with you at your table they are unlikely to hustle you. Private dances are also a bit high priced for what I've seen on Montana with a single song being $60 and triple songs and fifteen minute dances going up significantly from there.

Overall it's a decent club with some great girls but be prepared so spend some money. If you are hoping to get by spending just $20 they aren't likely to treat you well. A minimum of $1 per song at the stage is also an insult at this club. Most regulars tip between $3 and $20 per song at the stage.
