DG Sodo Post Covid (Amateur Night)

First review since January 2020 (!?)

I visited DreamGirls Sodo around 10:00pm on a Wednesday night (August 18th). I stayed for about an hour-and-a-half. Wednesday is amateur night, and I caught a few of the amateur dancers. One of the “amateurs,” a mixed stunner, was the hottest dancer in the club on the night. Probably not a good omen.

I’m new to Seattle and I had to begin somewhere. Despite the stale and mediocre reviews, DreamGirls Sodo is very close to my apartment. A quick 10-minute drive from Cap Hill. The club is across the street from T-Mobile Park, the Mariners stadium. On a Wednesday night, the adjacent neighborhood was completely dead. There was a bar to the north and a basketball gym to the south. (Barring injuries, I would have had more fun playing basketball.) I parked on a side street off 1st Avenue and walked two minutes to the club.
