Almost back to normal

I went on Thursday around 9PM. I was at Chicas Bonitas beforehand but was feeling overly hustled by some of the dancer duos there and the single dancers looks weren’t doing it for me.

Palomino was a breath of fresh air. The entrance fee was $30 though I drove there myself, found a spot in the lot, and there was no wait. Bouncer was nice but they did scan my ID. There is technically a mask mandate currently but this does not apply when drinking. Out of respect for the establishment I won’t comment on whether they made me wear one before buying my first coors light ($11 with tip) but once inside, everyone had a drink.

The tables were spaced out and it was basically standing room only if you didn’t buy bottle service. There was a nice area near the bar out your drink down and watch the show. Only the main stage had any dancing but the small stage nearer the entrance is still there so hopefully they can bring that back soon. I didn’t see any floor dances going on but am not sure if that’s due to the restrictions or to get us to buy up to the VIP. Regardless, the dancers were great and don’t have to mask up (none did).
