Finally visited the “NEW” Follies day shift

Made two visits about two weeks ago on a Wednesday and Thursday late afternoon/early evening. I was a frequent visitor to Follies day shift several years ago when traveling to ATL often and it seems all the local mongers are struggling to find a good replacement. Sadly, this place is not great and doubtful anything will come close anytime soon.

On both days I arrived between 5-6pm and parked in the back lot with no issues. Paid the $10 cover charge to the friendly guy out front and was directed down the steps to the club. As has been described this past was a night club and may be still at night. There was a small bar with one or two poles directly in the center of the back wall across from the stairs. No other stages or poles around. There are couches in squared off areas with small tables throughout.

I found a seat on one of the couches and bought a beer for around $6-7 and looked around for the dancers. Really only saw 10-15 dancers each day with a few white and Hispanic girls and the rest small to large AA ranging from 5-7. Thursday was better than Wednesday as for quality but not by much. I only got a few $10 dances on Wednesday from a AA with a great body but nothing close to old Follies 2 way contact. On Thursday I got some $10:dances from a young white spinner with Reddish brown hair that were OK but she seemed dis-interested. Maybe she could tell I wasn’t getting very excited and she didn’t do anything to try and change that. Then I think she over counted by 1-2 dances on the final count and I didn’t argue much because the DJ cut the songs so short and it was very hard to tell when they ended because it was mostly rap music. Later I was able to get several dances from a Cuban (Carla?) that included plenty of stick shifting and were the highlight of the two visits but still just OK overall. I asked about VIP and think she quoted $250 but I wasn’t interested at that price and didn’t get into any discussion of extras.
