Thursday in August

I was in Reno for work and tried wandering downtown for something to eat. I never though downtown Reno could get worse, but, I was wrong - so sad. Not knowing what the new COVID rules are, I decided to go to a club and take one for the team. It's been about 2 years since my last time in a Reno club. My favorite club is Spice House, but, they are still closed. No lights on or anything, that street is scary right now. My second choice is always Fantasy Girls. Why not Mens Club you ask? Because eff them, that's why. The "security/bouncer" aholes there are greedier than the dancers, especially the one that looks like young Vince McMahon.

I showed up at Fantasy Girls around 7:00 or 7:30 (I forget). I would say a dozen cars in the lot. I know that's early, but, my thought was that I would see the girls just finishing up and the new ones coming on. Nope, they just trickle in all night. Turned out to be fun though. The inside of Fantasy Girls has degraded a bit, but in my opinion I liked it a bit more this way. It kind of reminded me a bit of Spice House. They charged $10 to enter. The only people wearing masks seemed to be the woman at the front door, and the guy who wanded me. It started out with about 6 dancers and worked it's way up to maybe 15 dancers as the night progressed. Talked to a Latina from Mexico for a bit - she was a solid 8 but not really any chemistry. Moved on to a to the darker variety, also very attractive. We shared a couple of drinks, but, her attention was elsewhere. Talked to a couple more blondes, all fun, but not my bag baby. The smoking hot blonds tend to be fully aware they are all-that, and (in my experience) put out no effort and want top $. Typically, I avoid them - I'm nice & politely say, not now, thanks.

I was approached by a Russian, I forget her name. She kind of reminded me of someone else I know, and that really added something extra for me. We talked for a bit, had a drink or two, and we decided it was time for a dance...she convinced me that is. I felt a little weird about the two I had previously said "no" to a little bit before, but hey, I wasn't feeling it with them. She described the various options for a single dance ($20 I think), or 3 dances for $60, or private rooms for $150 for 15 minutes or $300 for 30 minutes. From what I remember that is about the same everywhere in town.
