Another Vegas disappointment

I frequently visit Chicas Bonitas when I'm in Las Vegas, mostly because it's just down the block from Palomino. It's a bit of a local/dive bar by comparison to most clubs in Vegas, but the unpretentiousness is nice. My latest trip was no different. After a slightly disappointing evening at Palomino, I walked down to Chicas. The street is not particularly pleasant, and I suspect the broader neighborhood might be sketchy to wander alone at night, but the walk from Palimino (and across the street from Jerry's casino) has never been a problem.

Cover was $5. The club was more covid-aware than others I visited in Las Vegas. They actually asked me about a mask on the way in, had signs saying masks were required, and at least some of the patrons and dancers were wearing masks while walking around. It wasn't universal, and I didn't encounter any enforcement. Dancers generally didn't wear them, or had them around their chin. I think my water was $5.

All of the dancers were Latina, with a variety of skin tones. I'd say the general attractiveness was a bit lower than on previous visits, consistent with my experience at Palomino. I think there were about 20 dancers present, mostly "ok" with a couple that I thought looked pretty good. As with other visits, I found myself wishing my Spanish were better. A few had pretty good English, and a few had almost none.
