Not Much of a Stage Show
One of the Deja Vu properties in the Seattle area. Plenty of parking that is screened from the main road (Lake City Way). As with all area clubs, alcohol free and no food. Unlike some clubs, no bar right next door. Clubs tend to make their money from charging house fees to dancers, cover, and vip rentals.
A few steps up to the front door and you are at the pay to enter point. Price was $17 (with a water), less than the typical $22. Restrooms relatively clean although hand dryers rather than paper towels. Seating is comfortable with a mix of single chairs and seats wide enough for two. Elevated stage in front and a stage in back. Stage in back is typically warm up area and kept dark. A series of vip rooms (beaded curtains) along two walls. Besides the vip, dances take place in a mostly separate area sort of behind a glass block wall. An elevated dj booth and a full bar area. Pretty hilarious given it was an auto dj and they serve no alcohol. All pretty much the same as pre-COVID. Masks required.
Came on a mid-afternoon Saturday. There were literally no dancers visible but at least eight or ten customers. This was for at least 15 minutes. One dancer was in VIP. The stage rotation began (seriously) with Stage, Waitress, Wendy, and Stage Maintenance. Of the first eight songs, the stage was empty for six or seven. Eventually saw Devious and Cedar and one other dancer was there but she seemed to be avoiding customers.
