Not as bad as the Reviews, but not Great either.

Visiting LA for a few days. Went on a Sunday night - was curious based upon the poor online reviews and what I've read here, just how bad it would be.

The club is nice, as you'd expect from Spearmint Rhino, with a large stage in the middle of the room and regular seating around it, with chair and small tables slightly away from it taking up most part of the back of the room. When me and a girlfriend were coming in ($20 each) they were just finishing up a 'dance special'... I think it was 4 songs topless for $40 or 4 for $80 full nude. Which sounds pretty damn reasonable.

We went to the bar and ordered a Red Bull and water ($12 total - not bad for a strip club) - there is no alcohol here. The bartender was cute as hell and really sweet. SHE ALONE is the reason I rate the 'How are the people' as a 7. From the bar we scanned the room and to be quite honest I thought the talent, as far as LOOKS, was a lot better than I've read about here. Of course, I like thin girls without or with boobs (fake or not), but they even had some curvier girls as well. Maybe 10 total, 2 were AA (a skinny one and a thick one) and the rest white or hispanic. One of them, a white girl, who sort of had a 'cowboy theme' to her look, and played country music (Eww) went onstage and we sat down to play.
