Power lunch at Rick’s
I stopped by Rick’s for a lunch visit on a summer Friday. I was expecting it to be very quiet but turned out to be a solid visit.
It’s a very classy establishment - professional staff greeted at the entrance and led down the red carpet to the main floor. Well-lit main stage is at one end, bar against the wall in the middle, and scattered small and large group seating around the floor. There are a couple more levels up but didn’t get to check it out.
At this time, there were about 7-10 dancers - one on the main stage doing a few sets while the others were giving dances and roaming the floor. Pretty diverse group - American, European, and Latin America. They were mostly all friendly in a stopping for an intro and quick chat to test interest.
