My cousin and I went to mermaids last Wednesday because it had the best reviews for a nearby club. We didn't have high hopes going but just wanted to have some fun. This place was very very nice. The worst thing I have to say about it is the parking lot is not very well lit. On entering we were almost instantly greeted by a lovely waiter with an amazing vibe. (especially to be the only waiter working) always had a smile and checked on us very frequently.
Most, not all, but most of the dancers were super friendly. It was very obvious which girls could dance better than the others and they also were better at conversating. One girl had a really nasty attitude but it wasn't near enough to ruin our night.
The drinks were a little on the expensive side but we normally drink higher end tequila, and the food was great. The club is bikini and they do not do private dances which was very disappointing. They have a mix of really amazing dancers and pretty bad ones. Very diverse in ethnicity and body shape.
We ended up spending a little over $900 but it was worth every bit and I plan on going back.
