Thursday Night with No Parking

I was driving across the country in mid-July and hoped to visit clubs each night (beginning with Atlanta, but I got into Atlanta too late). Nothing went as planned; but I was able to visit Club Vogue in Columbia MO … meh. And my third visit to Platinum 84 (other two were pre-Covid).

When I lived in Denver, where mileage is not “mile high,” my favorite club was La Boheme (soon to be a subsidiary of RCI Holdings). Because I was on a tight schedule, I settled for a stop by Platinum 84. I had seen speculation that a flock of handsy Cubans have been roosting at Platinum. That was not my experience; and I got some intel on Cubans-in-Denver from one of the more experienced dancers (see below).

I visited Platinum around 10:00pm on a Thursday night (must have been July 15th). I stayed for about two hours. There was a special event with pornstar Richelle Ryan dancing; but I had to get some sleep and left before she performed.
