So, So Day For Me

Circumstances over the past 18 months kept me away from clubs for a solid year, but now that things are getting back to normal, I've been trying to make my rounds, and see how things are going at my old haunts. I visited Club Desire about a month ago, and had a pretty good time, and since I was back in the area, I thought that I'd stop in again.

Normally, I'm on I95, and take the Thurbers Street exit, but I actually had business in Providence the last couple of times, and so I decided to take the back roads...big mistake: they are rebuilding a bridge, and my GPS brings me right through a detour that takes me through some narrow congested streets. Next time, I'll just hop back on 95, and get to Desire my normal way; I guess that I could always check a map.

Parking is pretty easy (at least during the times I visit), but the lot fills up fast (dancers, bouncers, etc all come in their own cars. I often get there between 12 and 1, and parking is no problem; when I leave, I sometimes see cars lined up along both sides of the driveway, and some creative parking. Valet parking is available, so you can just hand your keys to someone, and not worry about the congestion. I imagine that this is a necessity for nights and weekends.
