Fine, but uninspiring

Dream Girls is in downtown Minneapolis, and relatively easy to get to on foot if you're staying downtown. The roads are all chewed up by construction, so driving will be harder, and the train stop out front is closed. There are numerous parking ramps in the area, so if you drive in you can probably find a spot that's not too far. There's a bar adjacent to the club ("Sneaky Pete's"), and apparently a stamp from there gets you into Dream Girls without a cover.

I arrived about 10:00pm on a Thursday. A group of guys from Sneaky Pete's came in after me and in their excitement rushed to the counter in front of me waving their stamped wrists and demanding to be let in for free. The guy behind the counter nodded, and assumed I was with them. So I just followed in their wake and went inside without finding out what the cover charge would have been.

Inside there's a one-drink minimum. A bottle of water was $13 with "free refills" (I assume a new bottle, but I never inquired). They don't serve alcohol here, but had lots of Red Bull flavors.
