Met Milla at the Nj Mecca
So after reading review after review of this place (by the way, there are 2,701 reviews recorded as I write this!), I decided I had to make the trip. It is not very close to where I live and so I timed my arrival to be shortly after it opened in order to have my fun and still have enough time to get home at a decent hour. The physical layout has been described numerous times - a large dark rectangular room with a bar in the center, a small stage with a pole in the center of the bar area and the patrons sat at seats surrounding the bar (that, by the way does not serve alcohol).
Got there at 12:30-ish or so (opens at Noon). No one minding the entry area and no one wearing masks. Got a $10 bottle of water (I suspect that this is essentially the cover charge) and took a look around the room. There were probably 10 patrons and 10-12 dancers at this early hour. I can say that after reading some of the reviews, I was expecting more of a low-end sort of place (see “Akron , OH) but I honestly thought the bar area looked good. The bathroom was small but clean enough and the vibe was friendly.
The tip parade started as soon as I sat down. If there were girls with their regulars, it didn’t impact me at all. And while I didn’t see any young college coed-types, I thought most all of the dancers had the “goods” to be in their chosen profession. Two girls (I think one was Addy(?) and I didn’t catch the second one’s name both came up sequentially and asked me if I wanted to go back for a dance. I literally had not had a chance to uncap my water bottle at that point. So I declined, stuck a dollar bill between their wonderful breasts, and they were off to the next patrons.
