Clarification

Went on a Friday night - was curious if something had changed because the reviews are inconsistent as far as admission. What the guy who stands outside told me is: It is $20 per person up until they almost fill the regular seats (there are more than four as the last reviewer stated - more like 12), but then it goes to premium pricing. You have two choices then: Either $250 for as many as 4 people, with a bottle of champagne and seating in front of the stage OR $200 deposit toward dances with a $20 admission. That $200 goes towards any dances you do. (No you don't get it back if you don't use it - I asked). I did the deposit, as I planned to do dances. Which means, I spent $20 to get in.

The dances are regular privates in an area in the back where you can see the other people ($100 to $300) or $400 behind the curtain where up to four dances go on - 30 minutes, with a bottle of champagne. Upfront is where the private rooms are and they start at $750 and go up to $2500. The guy who sells the rooms says they go for longer times in those rooms and you get better champagne (eyeroll). I did a $400 room with a dancer who's been there awhile - mileage is decent but not really anything to write home about.

As someone who has been going to this club for 5+ years (as well as all of the clubs in the area/DC/Nova, I can say that Papermoon has a really good lineup of young fresh talent, maybe better than anyone else in the area. It hasn't always been that way, but whatever they're doing I hope they keep it up. I tipped numerous girls at stage (I counted at least 18 different girls) and more than half were 22 and under, and had never worked in a strip club before.
