This review is long overdue, it is from a Friday afternoon in May. I headed over to see if anything had changed for the better. Till this point, visits had been lackluster but this was about to change. Standard $10 door fee to enter and upstairs was still closed off. At about 5 on a Friday, this was as busy as I had seen it. Guessing maybe a dozen or so dancers and probably twice as many customers. The quality was fair, my interest was in the latinas of which they had a handful working at that time. Upon sitting down I spotted a familiar face. An older latina who I had visited several times at Diamonds and previously at Follies. At Diamonds she had provided great low cost extras in the VIP warm up area where the fish tank is. Speaking to her was a younger and more attractive Cuban who will remain nameless. Figured this was a great sign as the old saying goes birds of a feather...
She then provided several dances to another customer and I suspected there was some hands on activity going on from my vantage point. After that, I motioned for her to join me and she did. Let's say she was not shy. I asked where a "good place" would be but she brought me from the center of the floor over to the DJ area which was just an older dude with a laptop. Tons of grinding, two way contact and as I said, she was not shy at all about where her hands went. I was thinking maybe a dark corner would have been better, but no one said a word and I wasn't about to argue though the DJ was quite a bit closer than I'd have liked. There was a brief inquiry about VIP and I declined. Dances got progressively better and no worries ever about the bottoms not coming off. In the end it was 7 dances for $70 not a penny more... and I left almost thinking I was back on Buford Hwy.
